G4 IDEA Statement

At G4, our mission develop and commercialize efficient, robust, and cost effective Biomass to X solutions can only be fully achieved in an environment that embodies the principles of inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (IDEA).

We approach our work with humility, recognizing that we do not have all the answers. We are committed to listening, learning, and evolving to better meet the needs of those we serve. Like many other groups advancing IDEA, G4 recognizes that talent is distributed across people of all backgrounds and identities, but opportunity is not. G4 promotes opportunity, particularly for those with less access to it, as a mechanism to increase equity and leverage all available talent for advancing our mission.

We recognize the strength that comes from diversity and the innovation that emerges from a culture that welcomes difference and champions equity and inclusion.

Our Commitment:

Internally, we are dedicated to creating and nurturing a diverse workplace where every member feels valued, respected, and empowered.

o G4 centers IDEA within our 5 core values of Communication, Respect, Trust, Accountability, and Transparency.

o We commit to recruiting, hiring, and retaining a workforce that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve.

o We strive to build an inclusive culture that encourages, supports, and celebrates the diverse voices of our employees, stakeholders, and the technology community.

o Through continual learning, reflection, and a commitment to enact change, we will work to dismantle any barriers to equity and inclusion within our organization.

Externally, we pledge to foster an open technology community where IDEA principles and actions are foundational. This means:

o Supporting practices that are accessible to all and recognizing the diverse perspectives and experiences that contribute to the advancement of technology.

o Prioritizing collaboration with partners who share our commitment to IDEA, ensuring that our programs, services, and resources serve and uplift underrepresented and marginalized groups.

o Committing to listening, learning, and taking action based on the needs and feedback of our external stakeholders to make technology truly inclusive.

The renewable energy sector is marked by a wide spectrum of awareness, beliefs, knowledge, and practices concerning the development and deployment of novel renewable energy solutions. We understand that inclusion, diversity, equity, and access are not static goals but ongoing processes of growth and understanding. By valuing each individual's voice, perspective, and insights on what is effective and what is not, we are better positioned to fulfill our mission. G4 is committed to being a part of this continuous journey, learning, and evolving as we strive to make G4 Biomass to X technology beneficial for everyone.
